Between them, Marlow, Bailey and Tabitha already own pretty much everything in today’s post. Marlow has the onesie, and LOVES it (and it’s such a great price now). He wears it for bed, and is so cosy and warm in it. He also loves that the feet have grips, so he can charge around like a maniac in that window between bath and bed time and not slip on the wooden floor (while I’m reaching for the wine…). He also has the hi-tops (I always buy him one pair of expensive boots/shoes and one more affordable pair each season – this Winter’s espensive ones are these – look away Grandma!), pricey but well worth the investment) which he loves because the fit is really comfortable as he has quite wide feet (and is as fussy about how things feel as how they look!). And he will definitely be wearing the onesie with his hi-tops come 31st October. Bailey has the mask from last year (such a great price if you don’t want to invest too much on one night); and Tabs has the tutu (she would wear a tutu around the clock if I let her, but a black one is surprisingly stylish and easy to wear in an non dressing up way) and the kitty flats (who needs Chalrotte Olympia when we have Gap right?).
Here are some more spooky things we found for the girls – this Mouche crown with veil; this Candy Bows tutu and wings set; this M&S sparkle tutu; and these Gap pink glow-in-the-dark pyjamas (if you can’t persuade her into the cooler back and white pair).
And for the boys – how cool is this Gap embroidered skeleton sweatshirt? Definitely not just for Halloween. This Paul Smith Junior glow-in-the-dark sweatshirt; this M&S vampire costume; this John Lewis two pack of glow-in-the-dark pyjamas; and this super-stylish Numero 74 super hero costume.
And we haven’t forgotten the babies (why should they miss out on all the fun?). Check out this Little Eleven Paris bat set; these Stella McCartney Kids glow-in-the-dark pyjamas; this M&S skeleton print onesie; this Gap bat beanie; and this John Lewis skeleton sleep suit.

The Little White Company Lottie Sleepsuit, £15.40 (was £22.00)
The Little White Company Flannel Check Baby Sleepsuit, £26.00
One of my favourite times when the twins were babies was that gorgeous post-bath, cosy time just before bed. They always smelled delicious; were cuddly and snuggly, and happy to let me dress them in something cute and cosy for the night. Once you’re out of the ‘white sleepsuits around the clock’ phase (a particularly confusing time for Tom, as he often struggled to tell the twins apart, even though he denies it now!), you can start indulging in purchases like these. I mean, could they be any cuter?

Cocoon Cotton Romper (0-2 years)
£9.00 SHOP NOW
Looking for something cute and a little tongue-in-cheek for your baby boy to wear over the festive period that doesn’t involve reindeer ears? This is sweet, playful, but still cool and stylish. And not too silly. I love it. And for all the baby girls out there, the Angel baby grow is fast becoming a cute classic. For a more traditional take on the Christmas romper, this striped one from Gap is another favourite.
Beau Loves Mask All-In-One (3-6 months)
Cute, quirky and stylish… And a real bargain! What’s not to love?
Olly B Alphabet Sleepsuit (0-6 months)
I spotted this yesterday in the (recently opened) Oliver Bonas store in Richmond. So sweet! Such a simple idea, but perfectly executed in a simple, tasteful way (no gimmicks here!). Love the white and grey of course. Would make a lovely (unisex) gift for a newborn (and a great idea for twins or triplets). And in case it’s not obvious (well, I know many of you are very sleep-deprived…), it’s available in any letter of the alphabet (oh, actually, except Q, X and Y – I lied!).
ps: I also found the most adorable baby sheepskin ‘pop-on’ mittens on a string while I was in there. I’m dying to share/post them, but they don’t seem to be available to buy on the website. So frustrating. They had them in charcoal and navy, and they were possibly the best (and cutest) baby mittens I have even seen! So if you have a store near you, definitely check them out (apologies if you don’t). I will keep checking the website anyway.
La Redoute Baby Organic Cotton Cardigan & Trousers Set (0-2 years)
How chic is this little two piece? Makes a nice change from an all-in-one sleepsuit (particularly if your baby is still quite little and you have hoards of guests trooping though each day – this just feels a bit more ‘dressed’). I love the wrap detail of the top – just feels more expensive, and well, French. And great that a boy or a girl can wear it. And last, but not least, it’s covered in tiny stars, always one of my favourite prints for babies. Love.
Bobo Choses Sleepsuit (3-24 months)
Couldn’t resist this. So, so sweet. Again, quite a pricey post (well for a sleepsuit anyway), but this is not something you are going to find in your usual high street haunts. Would make the cutest (and most original) gift for a new baby. Love
Cyrillus Sleepsuit With Peter Pan Collar (1-24 months)
When I see things like this, it really does make me want to have another baby (mine are too big for this now sadly – if I could squeeze them into it, trust me I would!). There is just always something so lovely about cuddling a baby in a sleepsuit that I can never quite explain in words. And could this one be the most gorgeous one ever? Grey, Peter Pan collar, tiny embroidered stars, slip-resistant soles (ok, not necessarily chic, but definitely practical once they start staggering around!). And just so, French. Plus I think this is such a fab price. It would make the most adorable gift for a newbown. Love.
ps: thank you for all your lovely comments regarding the bikini giveaway. The winners of the three bikinis are: Sarah (grey spotty bikini, age 3), Gerry (navy spotty bikini, age 4), and Gillian (grey striped bikini, age 5). Congratulations! Please email me at the Little Spree address at the top of the site with your full names and addresses, and I will send them out to you once I get back from my holiday in Cornwall. And for those who weren’t lucky this time, worry not, there will be more giveaways coming soon…
Vertbaudet Baby Boy Sleepsuits (newborn-18 months)
The French definitely know what they are doing when it comes to kids’ clothes – even their sleepsuits are stylish! I’m not normally a fan of pictures on kids clothes, but these are so tasteful and cute, I would definitely buy them for a friend’s baby (my own are now officially called ‘toddlers’ sadly). I love the colours. And it’s always lovely to have something from time to time that can’t be found on the high street. These are an amazing price too (you get all three for £15.00).
